Pick a vibe — every category is a real page with reviews and booking.
In Tours, the historic lanes and the banks of the Loire also invite inner discovery: the city’s escape games use atmosphere to tell stories and spark adventure. Walking through the city you’ll find offerings ranging from ancient mysteries to more terrifying scenarios, with sets designed to immerse both young and old.
For a typical session in Tours, count on about 60 minutes of play, and most scenarios recommend a group of 3–6 players. Family- and child-friendly options exist, while others rely on fear and adrenaline: consider “La Voix de la Tour” or “La Secte” if you’re looking for intense atmospheres. For larger groups, adapted formats are offered; the exact maximum number appears on the game’s page.
Tours rooms range from tightly built mechanical-puzzle sets to quiz formats and high-capacity games, and the schedule of slots appears on the listing as soon as the operator publishes one. Escape Navigator helps you compare the offers of “Escape Yourself”, “Enigmatik Escape Game” and “Quiz Room” to choose based on theme, difficulty and group size.
Before booking, check the game’s page on Escape Navigator for practical details and conditions: a short safety briefing is usually given and a game master monitors the session, but exact rules, age limits and accessibility vary by escape game and should be consulted on the room’s listing before booking.
Most escape rooms in Tours recommend teams of around 3–6 players to maintain a balanced experience. Some venues accept larger groups for events or team building; available formats and maximum capacities are listed on each game page. Consider the age and experience of participants when choosing how many people to include in your team.
A typical session in Tours lasts about 60 minutes, which is indicated on the game page. Before you start, staff give a safety briefing, explain hint procedures and describe how to contact the game master. Exact rules, permission to search certain items and age restrictions are specified on the chosen game’s page, so review them before arrival.
In most Tours escape rooms a game master supervises and provides hints on request via screen, intercom or light signals. The number and timing of hints vary by room and selected difficulty; the listing clarifies whether play is more guided or stricter. The game master also monitors safety during the session and can intervene if necessary.
Open the page of the game you like in Tours: the listing brings together the theme, the duration, the recommended team size, the venue’s contact details and its schedule of slots where the operator publishes one. Escape Navigator is there to compare the city’s venues and pick a scenario; the booking itself is completed with the operator, from the schedule on the listing or by phone. Before you commit, check the cancellation terms, the minimum age and accessibility — they differ from venue to venue.
The rate is set by each venue and depends on the scenario, the time slot and the number of players; in Tours it is not yet filled in on every Escape Navigator listing. Expect a price per team rather than per person — each player’s share drops as the group grows. For the exact amount, open the game’s listing and then the venue’s schedule, which also shows birthday or private-hire packages where the operator offers them.
Three rooms in Tours are openly horror: «La crypte» and «Ernestine 2 : L’origine du mal» at Escape Yourself, and «La Secte» at Enigmatik. All three are rated for adults and «La crypte» is flagged 18+. If you are unsure about the intensity, the listing gives the recommended age and the theme tags: in Tours, family scenarios such as «La Revanche de Tuco» or «Des Vikings à la Brasserie» play on adventure rather than fear.
Tours has several formats built for groups: «L’Arlequin» at Escape Yourself takes 20 to 36 players, «Sensas» 4 to 15, and the Quiz Room games — «Le Quiz original», «Le Blindtest Original», «Quiz Room Enfants» — run 4 to 18 per session. For a children’s birthday, «Quiz Room Enfants» and «La Revanche de Tuco», open from age 10, are the best fit. Minimum and maximum capacity are shown on each game’s listing.
Tours has family-friendly options and children’s offers such as La Revanche de Tuco, Des Vikings à la Brasserie and La machine temporelle, which are indicated for younger players on Escape Navigator. Listings state recommended ages, difficulty level and whether staff assistance is provided. For family groups, select a game with educational or playful orientation appropriate to your children’s ages.
