July 14, 1918 — you are on the Champagne front, at a place called "Le Mont sans Nom." You belong to the 366th Infantry Regiment of the 4th Army under General Gouraud. Your superiors, suspecting a major German offensive is imminent, decided to launch a daring raid to steal intelligence from an enemy trench. The operation is a success: you manage to seize a strategic document. You are then given the crucial mission of bringing it back to your trench so it can be delivered to General Gouraud. But a problem arises: on your return you discover the Germans have taken advantage of the chaos to seize your position. Without having fired a single shot, you are taken prisoner. Your objectives are clear: Escape, find the command post, contact General Gouraud.
