Seize the Crown

The king will soon be passing through the medieval town of Provins to collect a new crown made by the city’s renowned jeweler. You — a band of seasoned thieves — plan to steal this priceless item. You learn it will be locked up securely in the vault until the king arrives. You sneak into the underground tunnels which, according to your most trusted friend, provide access to the city’s vaults. Unfortunately for you, the entrance to the tunnels slams shut behind you. Now you find yourselves trapped just a few meters from the vault, so close to the loot and yet in a very precarious situation. The royal guard will arrive in one hour to fetch the crown — you’d better not be around when they get here. An opportunity like this to snatch the crown may never come again...
