When his father passes away, Louis Aronnax expects to inherit only dusty memories. This professor from the Museum of Natural History in Paris, rumored to be the biographer of a mysterious Captain Nemo, leaves behind just one treasure: an old, dog-eared manuscript, covered with cross-outs and feverish annotations: The original of Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea.

Louis never believed in his father's extraordinary tales. But as he flips through the book, he discovers a secret hidden between the pages: the plan for a submarine of incredible ingenuity. On the back of the sketch, a few scribbled numbers... coordinates leading to an island absent from all maps, lost in the vastness of the South Atlantic.
