Lost in the Museum

You are in an elevator going up in hopes of visiting an interesting exhibition. Suddenly, you feel a tremor, everything goes dark and the elevator falls. You find yourself in the basement of the museum. Fumbling in the dark, you venture deeper into the museum's storage where you find peculiar objects. You need to find a way to restore the electric power, but this isn't as easy as your eyes can't help you this time. Is it possible to solve the riddle of this pitch black museum using senses other than sight? Keep in mind you don't have too much time as an increasingly strange energy emanates from these objects that are several thousand years old...
