The story of the enchanted dagger goes back to the Revolution. During the Reign of Terror, hundreds of Lyon residents were massacred by the French army.
The Brotteaux crypt holds the skulls, tibias and femurs of more than 200 victims.
These people are said to have been killed by an evil dagger that remains lost somewhere in the city of Lyon to this day. Such a relic should not be left unguarded out in the world, where it could fall into the wrong hands.
